ABE Programmes- an overview
Business Management (BM)
Business theory and practice ABE's most popular qualification and
the first to recieve QCA accreditation. BM students acquire the
kkey skills required for a career in the business world, including;
accounting, marketing, planning and strategic management. Students
completing the Advanced Diploma can expect to progress to roles
in marketing management and general management.
Students can also progress to the final stages of Bachelors degrees,
or even onto MBA degrees with relevant work experience.
Human resource Management (HRM)
People management
As any employer knows, HRM is a key function. Students of our HRM
programme develop skills to help themselves and their organisation.
Now available at Advanced Diploma level, students will be able to
progress the final stages if a bachelors degree in many universities.
Students completing the Advanced Diploma can expect to progress
to roles inlcuding Training manager and HR Manager. This programme
is also QCA accredited.
Business Information Systems (BIS)
Blending business and IT
This QCA accredited qualification allows students to acquire skills
in two keys areas of moden businesses. The units give sufficient
scopoe for career progression in both the management and the IT
sector- there are units in areas as diverse as systems analysis,
wuantitaive methods and
business law. Students completing the Advanced Diploma can expect
to progress to roles including database manager and webmaster. Students
can also progress to the final stages of Bachelors degree.
Marketing
Creativity and Measurement
Marketing is the driving force behind business development. Blending
the art of creativity with science of measurement and evaluation,marketing
plays an important role in role in today's global
marketplace. This programme offers students the opportunity to acquire
and develop the essential skill sets(such as communication, segamentaion
and planning) for a career in marketing management. students can
also progress to the final stages of Bachelors degrees.
Travel, Tourism and hospitality Management (TTHM)
The Business of tourism
Tourism is the world's largest industry with global income streams
of more than $500 billion. Our TTHM programmes link key business
principles with sector expertise, and include topical areas of interest
such as tourism and the enivronment. Students completing the Advanced
Diploma can
expect to progress to roles including resort manager and hospitality
marketing manager. Students can also progress to the final stages
of Bachelors degrees.
Financial Mangement (FM)
Business stability and accountability
No business can thrive without sound financial management. Our new
qualification combines business and management skillsets with financial
best practice. Units cover essential and diverse
areas including law, management accountancy and taxation. Students
completing the Advanced Diploma can expect to progress to roles
in accountancy, management accountancy and financial
consultancy. Students can also progress to the final stages of Bachelors
degrees.
